Barely made it through a day here. I made clear I was uncomfortable with the therapist I was placed with. Instead of trying to work with me to find someone else, I had the therapist I was uncomfortable with question me as to why I didn’t want to work with them, making me feel worse. I was told “let’s have a few sessions then see”. Why would I want to start therapy with someone I wasn’t comfortable with just to potentially be switched later on? Unfortunately while I would like to leave a better review I can't at this point. After I had a severe mental health break in February I was looking for an I.O.P. for after I got out of the hospital. Came across Stone River and at first it was great. They worked with me due to transportation issues and I really like my therapist a d things seemed to be going well. I completed a 6-month program here and had several ongoing concerns regarding operations, communication, and consistency. Communication between departments is extremely poor. Financial, administrative staff, therapists, and case management do not appear to coordinate. Financial would not clearly explain charges and redirected me to administration, who did not have the necessary information, resulting in repeated back-and-forth.
